We do not manufacture in India. All our products are imported and custom designed by a mix of International designers, including Italian, French, Dutch, and English designers, to name a few.

Yes, we can offer interior design support if you want to do up multiple areas or your complete residence. You can schedule an appointment to meet with us to discuss your project by writing to: sales@kayu.co.in with your project details and setup a date and time to meet with us.

Yes, we do. However, custom design involves a systematic drawing process and calculating materials and fabrics to develop a price proposal. Hence we will undertake custom design only once an order has been placed for standard catalogue pieces or when the client is willing to pay us a deposit which will be adjusted against the furniture price.

Our standard lead time for made-to-order furniture varies from 2-4 months, depending on the styles and quantities involved. We will inform you of the expected lead time before your order placement.
Yes, on request, we offer doorstep delivery and installation for your order, and we will coordinate the process.

For production orders, you need to pay a 50% advance. Once your ordered goods are manufactured, we will send you high-resolution photos of your finished goods, against which you pay the balance, prior to shipping.
Shipping and local taxes will be extra at actuals against receipts from each agency/provider. All order payments can be made by you locally in INR.

Our Outdoor furniture range is made from the highest-grade Outdoor materials for the frame, cushions, and fabric. However, all outdoor products will eventually deteriorate due to exposure to various elements. Hence, periodical maintenance is recommended to extend the life of the furniture and keep it looking good.

Many natural wood furniture, also termed Origins furniture – LIVE edge tables, roots, terracotta, etc. move over time and expand and contract due to the weather changes. KAYU does not guarantee their life or change in form. Some of these are soft woods and can move, expand, develop cracks, or sometimes attract insects. These are the risks associated with sourcing natural woods and hence cannot be addressed by us.

Warranty & Returns

Our delivery teams treat your order with care so it will arrive in the best condition possible, but if there is any visible damage on the merchandise or to your home during the delivery process, please notify our delivery team and make sure that it is recorded in the delivery challan. We will then contact you to offer the best possible solution based on the extent of the damage.

As per our standard terms, we offer a 1-year manufacturing defect warranty. However, the basic warranty is void if the merchandise suffers damage caused by abuse, negligence, or accident, has been relocated, repaired, or tampered with, was sold “as is,” or is used for commercial purposes. We do not guarantee fabrics against wear, fading, colour fastness, or any damage caused by cleaning processes.

We undertake the production as per your specific requirement, and the products are made as per your preferences – hence we don’t accept any returns unless there is significant visible damage at the time of delivery. We get a sign-off on your OC – Order Confirmation to ensure there are no
